Beet-Tastic Juice

This juice is also referred to as an “ABC” juice for apple, beets and carrots. This classic juicing combo includes sweetness from the root vegetables and apple with a healthy kick from the ginger.

It’s a great beginner juice or one to make anytime you have an abundance of these veggies in your fridge. It also pairs well with a workout. Research shows that drinking beet juice after exercise can help reduce muscle soreness and help your body recover faster.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large beets
  • 1 red apple
  • 4 carrots
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger

Directions:

  1. Wash all produce well.
  2. Add all ingredients through juicer and enjoy!

Substitutions:

Beets – red cabbage

Apple – pear

Carrot – sweet potato, parsnip

Ginger – lemon
