Smart Sweet: Mango Ice Pops (Lassi Pops)

You have to try these yummy and dairy-free ice pops! Most ice pops (and ice creams) are traditionally made with milk and yogurt, but these are made with coconut that adds a perfectly light and delicious flavor in place of the dairy.

Mango’s are high in carotenoids such as lutein, zeaxanthin, beta-carotenes and alpha-carotenes and they also contain potassium, calcium and magnesium.

You can either blend the ingredients together and make a smoothie or make them for you (and your kids) as ice pops!

  • 1 mango
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup (125 ml) coconut milk/water
  • ½ cup of ice


  1. Peel and chop the mango and banana.
  2. Blend all the ingredients together.
  3. ENJOY as a smoothie or follow step 4.
  4. Pour into an ice block/pop  container  and freeze overnight.
  5. Optional – add pieces of chopped mango to the ice block container for extra ice block texture


  • Mango – apricots, peach, nectarine, berries
  • Banana – pear, apple, berries
  • Coconut water – water, almond milk, rice milk, oat milk, hempseed milk
  • Ice – water

Servings: 4 - 6 popsicles
