Infuse a little summer into a chilly spring morning for an electrolyte-packed, nourishing and light start to the day or afternoon pick-me-up. This juice can replace any store-bought sports drink.
Summer produce is vibrant and fresh but sadly the season is winding down in many regions. I love fresh juice and I’m often looking for a great tasting veggie-heavy option. This mostly-veggie (lime is the only fruit!) gem is full of health promoting antioxidants in the carotene family thanks to the red pepper and carrots. Enjoy it while these seasonal veggies are still available.
July is National Blueberry Month, so to celebrate I incorporated blueberries into my juice recipe this week. Blueberries are loaded with cancer-fighting antioxidants, digestive and vision-healthy vitamins A and C, and are a good source of fiber (5 grams per 1 cup) while being relatively low in calories so drink up and enjoy!
