Watermelon & Strawberry Juice Pops

Pops or ice blocks are a fun way to consume your juices in the warm weather, since they feel like you’re eating solids when in fact your consuming juice. They can be made light and fruity for kids, including big kids, or you can make them with vegetable ingredients. You can even enjoy them on a 100% Reboot juice-only program as a juice replacement. Any juice recipe including the all-famous mean green can be made into a fun juice pop in the hot weather to keep you cool, hydrated and nourished! Or you can make our rainbow pops to increase your intake of colors in the rainbow.

Ingredients:

  • 1/8th of a watermelon
  • 2 cups of strawberries
  • 1 red apple

Directions:

  1. Slice the green off the watermelon and take the tops off the strawberries.
  2. Wash and chop produce to suit your juicer.
  3. Juice and pour the juice into ice pop containers (I use stainless steel containers) and add the paddle pop or stick and freeze overnight.
  4. To pull the ice pops out you may rinse under warm water for a few seconds to extract easily.
  5. Enjoy!

Substitutions:

Watermelon – melon, cantaloupe, pineapple

Strawberries – blueberries, raspberries, mulberries

Apple – pear, pineapple, plum

Prep time: 10 minutes

Servings: Makes 4-6 pops
