Since watching Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, Sammy has lost eight shirt sizes, 20 inches on his waist, can enjoy the amusement park rides with his daughter, and takes his family out for dinner without worrying about the chair sizes in the restaurant.
Weighing 530 lbs./240 kg, Sammy was both physically and mentally limited. He ate whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted — even in the middle of the night for a snack. He suffered joint pain, was depressed and very self-conscious of his image.
After the birth of his son in 2012, he wanted to be sure he would live long to see his son grow and be there for his family, not just physically, but also mentally. After a 60 reboot, he was down 97 lbs./44 kg and able to take control of his life again.
Sammy has since eliminated all red meat from his diet and drinks only juice for breakfast and lunch, followed by a healthy dinner. He now snacks on nuts and seeds and says he feels better now than when he was in middle school. Sammy you have amazing determination and clearly that has paid off. Well done, juice on!
